About this Talk

Majid was involved in the latter stages of this important legal case which went to a trial at the High Court in London on the issue of liability. The court found in favour of the claimant despite the medical literature supporting the defendant’s management of the claimant. Many questions have been asked around the judgement and the wider implications of the case. Majid will be able to explain how the court came to the conclusion it did, what it means for clinicians treating elite athletes and what they can do to protect themselves against the threat of legal action.
