Who is the conference for and the benefits of attending:

The BASEM Annual Conference is a well-established and respected event within the SEM community, continuing to grow and evolve each year. The academic programme is structured around three parallel session streams, designed to reflect the breadth of roles across the SEM field. Delegates typically include SEM clinicians working in elite sport, private practice and the NHS; academic researchers; physiotherapists and other practitioners in musculoskeletal medicine; GPs with a specialist interest in SEM; early-career doctors; and medical students.

Alongside the educational programme, the conference provides an opportunity for delegates to spend two days in person with colleagues, peers and collaborators from across the UK in a professional and collaborative environment. Hosted in a different location each year, the conference is open to both members and non-members and continues to expand its reputation and reach. The result is a broad and engaged audience that returns year after year, contributing to an established meeting within the SEM community.
