About this Session

The Premier League plays a central role in advancing player health across the professional game, from Academy environments through to first-team football. This presentation will provide an overview of the League’s player health work, highlighting the breadth of activity it spans and how it aligns with clubs, practitioners and wider football stakeholders to optimise the physical and mental health of players.
Across this work, the League seeks to support clubs and practitioners by connecting regulation, research, education and applied practice. The aim is to strengthen standards, develop the workforce and inform club practice.
