Dr Markus Klingenberg is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist based in Bonn, Germany. He is internationally recognised for his work in regenerative orthopaedics, orthobiologics and minimally invasive treatments for musculoskeletal disorders. His clinical focus is the integration of evidence-based orthobiologic therapies into modern sports medicine and joint preservation strategies.
Markus serves as President Elect of the German Society of Interventional Orthobiology (DGIOB) and is part of the Official Medical Centre of the Olympic Training Centre Rhineland, where he supports both elite and recreational athletes. In addition to his clinical and scientific activities, he is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and actively contributes to the advancement of orthobiologic medicine through education and research.
Dr Klingenberg is the author of several books and publications on regenerative medicine and orthobiologic therapies. His work focuses on translating innovative biological treatment concepts into everyday clinical practice in order to improve patient outcomes and maintain long-term musculoskeletal health and performance.
